One of our favorite “before and after” projects, the owners of this new home had thoroughly modern taste and loved their country setting, and asked Truth Box to transform their existing home while making it energy efficient along the way. The floor plan was only enlarged a little (150 SF) but both inside and outside were completely redone, including a new shed roof in the living space to give the feeling of more room and to let in some Northern light above. The walls were made thicker to hold more insulation, while the relatively small footprint kept the overall construction costs down. Completed 2004.
