Our clients wanted to expand their early 19th century farmhouse without losing the special charm it had held for them over the years. Given the house is only used on the weekends in winter, this was one project where the Truth Box team didn’t have to be hyper-focused on energy-efficiency. (We still insulated as much as we could and installed a high-efficiency furnace…) Meanwhile, a brand new kitchen, bathroom and mudroom give the place a much roomier feel. The owners were very resourceful and used a number of salvaged fixtures and finishes to give the place a comfortable feel. Completed 2004.
