Peter Gill Case developed Truthbox Inc. as an alternative to wasteful building practices.
Peter Gill Case received his MArch from the Rhode Island School of Design, and his BA from Brown University in Urban Studies. Mr. Case has worked at Durkee Brown Vivieros & Werenfels in Providence and oversaw construction on various historic buildings including the Majestic Theatre, home of the Trinity Repertory Co. Mr. Case also worked on several affordable housing projects in Providence focusing on building re-use and revitalization. Since founding Truth Box, Inc., Mr. Case has developed a practice based on the broad definition of sustainable design. This has led Truth Box towards large scale mill buildings, the reuse and recycling of buildings/materials and the utilization of state-of-the-art equipment. In residential projects this has translated into alternative building materials such as straw bales, and structural insulated panels, and strategies to improve energy efficiency via passive and active solar power installations.
